While studying in Florence, Italy Ashley Burghardt of ASHARD RICHLEY discovered her true passion for accessories. After completing her degree in Fashion Design from Texas Tech University, Ashley decided to follow that passion and focus on accessories. She began her career at Be&D in New York and later joined the design team at Coach. She then moved to Dallas for a head designer position where she met her husband Richard. About a year after the move Ashley told her then fiancé that she could design her own line of fashion handbags that people would love. Having no fashion experience himself and possessing questionable taste, Richard decided he had no choice but to trust her. ASHARD RICHLEY was born.
Since its inception in 2009 ASHARD RICHLEY has made its way into over 100 stores in the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica.
